AUGER TYPES
AMS Regular Augers are meant for use in almost all soil types. They are most commonly used for gathering disturbed soil samples close to the surface. It is also used to bore at certain depths to continue soil sampling processes. The bits of the regular soil auger is open to allow entry of small soil clumps and also smaller rocks and particles. An important factor to take note of is to be sure that all samplers you plan on using together have a similar connection type.
